Wes Pope is currently a Lecturer in Photojournalism & Documentary Studies at Northern Arizona University. He has spent more than 15 years working as a photojournalist, concentrating on multimedia and video production for the last five years.

This summer Wes worked as a multimedia consultant at the San Francisco Chronicle where he helped launch the innovative iPad video series, The Herb Caen Files.

Previously Wes worked at the Rocky Mountain News, Chicago Tribune, Santa Fe New Mexican, CITY 2000, The Times of Northwest Indiana, Tri-City Herald, Tacoma News Tribune and also spent some time as a magazine freelancer. Wes recently completed a master’s in Documentary Film & History at Syracuse University and has won awards for his photography and multimedia throughout his career.
