Lynne Warren
Lynne Warren is an independent editor and communications consultant. Working from her studio in rural southern Maryland, she helps journalists, artists, screenwriters, community leaders, and businesspeople reach audiences across the contemporary media spectrum with compelling stories told in authentic voices and memorable images.
As an award-winning writer and editor for National Geographic magazine she covered stories on everything from Antarctic science and human trafficking to snowy owls and meerkats over more than 13 years. Recent projects include editing a New York Times nonfiction bestseller for Workman Books, profiling environmental activists for Rolex, and interviewing a leading medical researcher on end-of-life care for the AARP Bulletin.
This is her twelfth season as a writing coach for the Mountain Workshops.
